The institutional services unit is responsible for nursing home places in Ringsaker municipality. The nursing homes are located in Brumunddal, Brøttum, Moelv and Nes/Helgøya. The nursing home wards are divided into groups with their own post kitchens and living rooms. The allocation of nursing home places is handled by a separate unit for service allocation and coordination.

The positions are rotational, currently working every third weekend. You will be part of our team at Brumunddal nursing home, department 1 - sheltered unit.

Tasks:

• Care, treatment and observations of patients
• Implement environmental measures and work purposefully with confidence-building measures
• Medication administration, approved medication course
• Documentation

• Be on call in the institution

Qualifications:

• Authorization as a health professional
• Knowledge and experience in geriatrics
• Good presentation skills in Norwegian, both orally and in writing
• Master ICT tools, including the computer system Profile
• Approved medication course
