Bakkehaugen kindergarten is a six-section kindergarten for the age group 0-3 years and 3-6 years. The kindergarten is centrally located in Brumunddal, within walking distance of beautiful natural areas, as well as the city's facilities. The kindergarten is functionally designed and has its own drama and music room, a language workshop, a design room and a large common room in addition to the departments. Bakkehaugen kindergarten focuses on creating a stimulating environment with an emphasis on linguistic and social skills, where the children get good play experiences and opportunities to form good friendships.

We are looking for

Assistant kindergarten manager - 100% permanent position, starting August 1, 2026.

Tasks

  • Co-responsible for leading the kindergarten's professional and educational development work
  • Work according to adopted goals and plans
  • Co-responsible for following up the staff
  • Co-responsible for ensuring that the kindergarten is operated in accordance with laws, regulations, regulations, guidelines and municipal bylaws
  • Perform delegated tasks from the kindergarten manager
  • Lead the kindergarten in the absence of the kindergarten manager

Qualifications

  • Training as a kindergarten teacher
  • Desirable with relevant practice and management experience from a similar position
  • Desirable with management training
  • Good ICT skills, as well as good written and oral presentation skills
