The youth guarantee was introduced in Nav on July 1, 2023. The guarantee will ensure that young people receive close, individual and coordinated follow-up on the road to work. The aim is to reduce youth exclusion and help more young people complete their education and find work.
At NAV Ringsaker, we have a vacant 100 percent permanent position as a supervisor in the youth team.

Nav Ringsaker is centrally located in Brumunddal with almost 70 colleagues. We are divided into three departments with two teams in each department. The position in the youth team is affiliated with the Department of Work and Inclusion. We aim to be a professionally strong office that works for an inclusive and diverse working life with opportunities for everyone.
Tasks:
- Ensure close and individually tailored follow-up of young people throughout the guarantee period with the aim of helping more people into ordinary work or education.
- Be a permanent contact person in Nav for up to 50 young people in need of work-oriented assistance.
- Provide guidance on work-related, social and financial matters.
- Identify the need for courses, training or certifications that make the young person more attractive in the labor market.
- Assist with coordination and cooperation with relevant agencies such as educational institutions, health services, child welfare services, follow-up services or other municipal services.
- Continuous follow-up of participants, including during labour market measures, training, education, medical treatment and in the workplace.
- Provide employers who hire participants with the necessary follow-up and guidance.
- Ensure young people's participation in the planning and implementation of activities throughout the guarantee period.
- Information, advice and guidance, including financial advice.
- Case processing in accordance with the NAV Act, the National Insurance Act, the Measures Regulations and the Act on Social Services in NAV.
- Be responsible for your own work area and take joint responsibility for the office's common tasks.
- Contribute to taking joint responsibility for a good working environment.
The NAV office is constantly evolving, so changes in work tasks and team affiliation must be expected.
Must qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in social science (social worker, child welfare educator or social worker).
- Bachelor's degree in social science or health sciences is considered by particularly relevant work experience from Nav in the area of work-oriented follow-up and / or case management according to the Act on Social Services in Nav.
- Education from abroad must be approved by the Directorate for Higher Education and Competence (formerly NOKUT).
- Strong commitment to Nav's social mission.
- Good Norwegian written and oral presentation skills.
- Good competence in the use of ICT as a work tool, including knowledge of Office 365.

Annual salary in a 100 percent position: social worker/social curator, position code 7534, salary range from NOK. 547 600- 639 400.
