Hi!

My name is Robin, and I need more assistants for my BPA program. We are currently seeking 2 assistants for permanent positions at 49.6% and 28.87% FTE, respectively, with work hours in the afternoon, evening, and on weekends. In some cases, daytime shifts may also be required. Work every fourth weekend. I’m 8 years old and live in Brumunddal with my family. I have cerebral palsy and epilepsy. I’m non-verbal and use alternative communication methods.

I’m sociable and love music. I enjoy going on outings and participating in activities adapted to my abilities, both indoors and outdoors. So you must be in good physical shape, in good health, and creative in adapting play and activities. You must also be a reliable and dependable person whom I and my family can trust, and be able to handle stressful situations.

Job duties:

  • Practical assistance (meals, dressing, repositioning, medication, etc.)
  • Exercise and physical therapy.
  • Assistance with transfers and the use of assistive devices.
  • Use of AAC.
  • Assistance with play
  • Simple practical tasks around the home.
  • Use of digital tools.

Qualifications:

  • Proficiency in spoken and written Norwegian
  • Class B driver’s license
  • Clean criminal record and police clearance
  • Experience in the healthcare field or studies in healthcare are desirable

Personal suitability is emphasized

The positions primarily involve working in the afternoons and on weekends.

You must be prepared to work during school breaks and travel in connection with examinations, etc. This will be agreed upon in advance.

We offer:

Annual salary for a full-time position: job title, Assistant; job code: 6572. From NOK 397,000 to NOK 494,200. Ringsaker Municipality offers free parking and good pension plans.

Other:

It is desirable that a car be made available for official use when special needs arise. Use of a personal vehicle for work purposes will be compensated in accordance with the travel regulations (SGS 1001, §4).
