Do you want to take a clear leadership role and shape the youth services of the future?
We are looking for an independent, enterprising and clear leader who will develop and lead the youth services in Ringsaker municipality. You will be responsible for creating attractive meeting places and activities for young people, and be a driving force for participation and innovation in the leisure offer.

About us
Culture is responsible for promoting and facilitating a wide range of cultural and sports activities, including the operation and development of municipal sports and cultural buildings, Prøysenhuset, swimming facilities, leisure clubs, the lending center BUA and other cultural purposes according to the Culture Act. Attractive cultural and activity offerings are important for achieving the municipality's vision of growth, development and care for all.

Culture works interdisciplinary and holistically with the children's and youth offerings, and we are looking for you who can be an active driver in the work of facilitating good growing-up environments and an active and meaningful leisure time for young people. Youth participation will be continued and further developed as a method, based on experience from projects such as Brøttum Lounge, Ringsaker_ung and UngdomsLive.

Your role
The position has a two-part function:

  • Lead the development work for the youth offer - from idea to implementation.
  • Daily management of currently Nes and Brumunddal leisure club, including operations and budget follow-up.

Working hours are daytime for parts of the position, with evening work in accordance with the operational needs of the youth offer. The position reports to the head of department.

Tasks:

  • Lead development work and change processes for the youth offer in Ringsaker.
  • Team leader, including preparation and follow-up of work plans and rosters.
  • Budget follow-up and mercantile tasks.
  • Develop and follow up instructions, routines and procedures for the leisure club premises.
  • Participate in networks for children and young people, including the youth council.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of events and experiences for residents.

Qualifications:

  • Relevant education and/or experience of youth work.
  • Experience with leadership, development and change work.
  • Competence in process and project management and participation processes is desirable.
  • Good written and oral presentation skills.
  • Driver's license class B

Other:

The culture office has cars that are used in the service. When using your own car in the service will be compensated in accordance with the travel regulations (SGS 1001, §4).
