The Institutional Services Unit is responsible for nursing home beds in Ringsaker Municipality. The nursing homes are located in Brumunddal, Brøttum, Moelv, and on Nes/Helgøya. The nursing home wards are divided into groups, each with its own kitchen and common room. The allocation of nursing home beds is handled by a separate unit for service allocation and coordination.

We are hiring
Healthcare workers/nursing assistants for permanent weekend positions ranging from 12.50% to 23.24%.

The positions involve day and evening shifts, with fixed weekend rotations.
The positions are currently available in Wards 1 (secure), 2, 3, and 4 at Brumunddal Nursing Home.

Job Responsibilities

• Patient care, treatment, and monitoring
• Serving as the lead healthcare worker for a care group
• Medication administration
• Mentoring apprentices and students as needed
• Conducting assessments and participating in Sam Aks work
• Electronic medical record documentation
• Contributing to a positive, safe, and engaging work environment

Qualifications

• License as a healthcare worker/nursing assistant is required
• Experience in geriatrics is desirable
• Good ICT skills
• Strong communication skills in Norwegian, both spoken and written
