Your supervisor is your immediate superior and defines what your position entails and which tasks you are to perform at any given time.

Hi! I’m an active woman in the prime of life who is looking for both temporary and on-call assistants. I am blind and have a guide dog. I enjoy going for walks, attending events and activities, fulfilling my volunteer commitments, knitting, going to the swimming pool, going shopping, and socializing. I am looking for assistants who are available to work during the day and in the evenings, as well as some weekends. I’ve recently moved to Ringsaker and need assistants who are familiar with the area and can help me get to know my new home, as well as inform me about the services and amenities available in the local area.

What do I expect from you?

• Good assistance. No educational requirements
• Good oral and written communication skills in Norwegian are required
• Class B driver’s license
• You must be comfortable around dogs and dog hair.
• The service dog must be able to ride in the assistant’s car.
• Personal suitability and chemistry will be emphasized.
• You must be punctual and reliable.
• You must be flexible and solution-oriented.
• You must have a positive attitude and be able to work independently.
• Clean criminal record and police clearance certificate.

Job duties:

• Assist with cooking
• Assist with guiding and describing the surroundings
• Assist with tasks involving the internet, computers, and cell phones
• Assist with keeping my dog under control outdoors
• Assist with social activities
• Assist with transportation
• Assist with housekeeping
• Assist with select planned trips/weekend trips

We offer:

Annual salary for a full-time position: job title, Assistant; job code: 6572. From NOK 397,000 to NOK 494,200.

Use of a personal vehicle for work purposes will be compensated in accordance with the travel regulations (SGS 1001, §4).
