The Institutional Services Unit is responsible for nursing home beds in Ringsaker Municipality. The nursing homes are located in Brumunddal, Brøttum, Moelv, and on Nes/Helgøya. The nursing home units are divided into groups, each with its own kitchen and common room. The allocation of nursing home beds is handled by a separate unit for service allocation and coordination.

We are seeking a healthcare assistant for a permanent position:

72% position – Rotating shifts with day and evening work, as well as work every other weekend

The position is currently in Ward 4

Job Responsibilities:

• Patient care, treatment, and monitoring
• Lead healthcare worker for a care group.
• On-call duty in the ward as needed
• Primary contact responsibility, including collaboration with family members.
• Medication administration
• Responsibility for supervising apprentices and/or students.
• Responsibility for fire safety
• Conducting assessments and participating in Sam Aks work
• Documentation in the EPR
• Contributing to a positive, safe, and engaging work environment

Qualifications:

• License as a healthcare worker
• Must have a good command of Norwegian, both written and spoken.
• Strong ICT skills
• Experience in geriatrics is desirable.
• Must provide proof of completion of an approved medication management course before starting the position.
