Are you the one?

Ringsaker School aims to equip students as well as possible to take charge of their lives and participate in work and community life. The school’s broad mandate and social mission are fulfilled through early intervention and close monitoring of the school’s academic and social learning environment. High academic standards and a systematic approach will enhance the quality of education for students in Ringsaker.

Moelv Middle School is centrally located in Moelv, a short distance from downtown, Lake Mjøsa, and Moskogen. Moelv Sports Park and Moelvhallen are located close to the school, and with a 20- to 30-minute drive to Hamar, Gjøvik, and Lillehammer, we are truly “right in the middle of it all.” For the 2026–2027 school year, the school has around 200 students and approximately 35 staff members, including a special education department for students from the northern part of the municipality.

We work systematically on improvement initiatives and place a special focus on an inclusive learning environment and digital literacy. The school is a teacher-training school, which involves close collaboration with Inland Norway University.

As a school leader, you have the opportunity to influence students’ development and learning. In close collaboration with the school owner, other school leaders, staff, and parents, you will help create a school that both shapes and educates young people for the future.

We are looking for someone who wants to lead a dedicated and highly competent staff to meet the opportunities and challenges of the future—someone who is ambitious, has strong interpersonal skills, and leads in a trust-based manner.
