Our adapted services consist of a work and training center, 21 group homes, respite care for adults, and a nursing home. The services are primarily aimed at people with developmental disabilities and are provided in Moelv, Brumunddal, Brøttum, and Nes. The administration is located in Brumunddal.

We want to focus on prevention and coping, and our employees are our most important resource for achieving this.

We are seeking the following:

1 x 100% permanent position as a licensed social care worker, currently at the Storgata 44 Shared Living Community in Moelv. The position involves rotating shifts with day and evening work and long shifts every fourth weekend.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Perform duties in accordance with the nature of the service and the daily operations of the unit
  • Maintain documentation in our professional systems, Profil and EQS, in accordance with applicable laws
  • Follow up on measures in accordance with applicable laws.
  • Perform duties in accordance with the current job description
  • Serve as the subject matter expert in collaboration with other university college staff
  • Be responsible for goals and measures
  • Be familiar with and comply with the laws, regulations, and rules governing the service
  • Provide guidance to other staff
  • Identify and assess the need for services
  • Organize and follow up on daily tasks and measures in accordance with decisions
  • Ensure interdisciplinary collaboration
  • Transport the user group to and from work and activities in both summer and winter.
  • Contribute to innovation and staying current within the field and in the work
  • Perform delegated tasks assigned by a supervisor, including medication management
  • Work closely with family members, guardians, and other partners

Qualifications:

  • License as a social care nurse is required
  • Knowledge of goal-oriented environmental work
  • Knowledge, experience, and interest in people with complex needs and challenging behaviors
  • Good verbal and written communication skills in Norwegian
  • Strong ICT skills
  • Knowledge of case management and guidance related to Chapter 9 of the Act on Municipal Health and Care Services.
  • Class B driver’s license

We offer:

Annual salary for a full-time position: social care worker, official job code 6455: From NOK 570,400 to NOK 664,900
