Ringsaker Municipality has an open, full-time (100%) position for a Digitalization Advisor.

Ringsaker Municipality is committed to further developing its efforts in digitalization, service development, and efficiency improvements within its own organization. We aim to utilize technology in a way that provides high-quality services to residents and businesses, while simultaneously improving work processes and making the best possible use of resources.

We are therefore seeking a Digitalization Advisor who can contribute to the development and implementation of digitalization initiatives across the organization in close collaboration with managers, subject matter experts, and the IT department. This position is ideal for someone who combines an understanding of technology with the ability to get things done, and who can help ensure that digital solutions are adopted and deliver value to the organization.

The position is part of the Strategy and Development Section, which serves as a direct support unit for the City Manager, and reports to the Chief Strategy Officer.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead, drive, and follow up on efforts to develop and implement digital solutions
  • Map out work processes in collaboration with the various departments, propose improvements, and help ensure that benefits are tracked and realized
  • Contribute to increased use of automation, artificial intelligence, and digital solutions across departments
  • Coordinate and follow up on the municipality’s broadband expansion efforts
  • Collaborate closely with the ICT department, subject matter experts, and leaders within the organization
  • Contribute to efforts related to information security, privacy, and digital governance
  • Contribute to research, case management, and the preparation of decision-making documentation
  • Other tasks as determined on an ongoing basis

Qualifications:

  • Relevant higher education
  • Experience working with digitization or the development and implementation of digital solutions
  • A good understanding of the interplay between technology, organization, and work processes
  • Experience with project management, process management, or the implementation of digitization and development initiatives
  • Strong oral and written communication skills

  • Knowledge of information security, privacy, and digital governance
  • Experience with automation or artificial intelligence
  • Experience with service development, benefit realization, or change management
  • Experience with vendor management
