The Department of Personal Assistance and Training is responsible for providing home-based health and care services for users under the age of 67. Currently, this involves users under the age of 60 who have injuries from major accidents or other challenging medical and psychological conditions. These users have healthcare professionals with them in the form of a 24-hour arrangement, with one-to-one staffing. The department is concerned that users should be able to live their lives in the way they want and need, so that they experience everyday coping in relation to their condition.

Personal assistance and training is a separate department under the Home Service. The Home Service focuses on providing users with high-quality services and facilitating comprehensive care at all stages of life. We focus on prevention and coping, and our employees are our most important resource in achieving this. Our vision is to be "Norway's best home service".

We are now looking for an assistant in our department in a 91.55% permanent position

The position has day and evening shifts with working weekends every 3rd weekend and is available for immediate start. The work will take place in the user's home. The user has serious medical and psychiatric disorders and needs comprehensive services. This includes assistance with everyday routines and challenges. We are therefore looking for a robust and skilled employee.

Tasks:

  • Services provided in the home based on the user's needs
  • Assist the user in everyday challenges
  • Implement environmental measures and work with confidence-building measures

Qualifications:

  • It is an advantage with broad experience from working with users who have complex medical and psychiatric disorders
  • It is an advantage if you have experience from working in the Home Service and BPA.
  • Good presentation skills in Norwegian, both orally and in writing
  • Mastery of ICT tools
  • Driver's license class B

We offer:

Annual salary in 100% position: Assistant, off. stkode 6572: From NOK 397 000,- to NOK 494 200,-.

Other:

It is to be expected that a car will be made available in the service for special needs. Use of own car in the service will be compensated in accordance with the travel regulations (SGS 1001, §4). Employees who drive more than 1,500 km per year using a private car in the course of duty will be compensated in addition to the normal mileage allowance.

A recent police certificate must be presented before starting work.
