The Institutional Services Unit consists of 236 nursing home beds distributed across five nursing homes in Ringsaker Municipality, located in Brumunddal, Brøttum, Moelv, and Nes/Helgøya. Institutional Services in Ringsaker Municipality is an attractive workplace that provides comprehensive and professionally up-to-date services, and our employees are our most important resource for achieving this.

The department head group consists of 10 department heads, all of whom report to the unit manager for Institutional Services. 

We are seeking:

A full-time (100%) permanent position as department head at the Institutional Services unit, FSE, on Helgøya. The position is available upon agreement.

Job responsibilities:

• Personnel responsibility for 19 full-time equivalents, including eight long-term positions
• Responsible for day-to-day operations and serving as a driving force in development efforts
• Implementing the objectives in effect at any given time
• Delegated financial responsibility for your department
• A clear leader who stands firm in the face of challenges and fosters a positive collaborative environment and participation
• Responsibility for ensuring that the services provided are of high professional quality
• Facilitate user participation and collaboration with family members
• In collaboration with the other department heads, you will play a central role in the further development of the unit

Qualifications:

• License as a registered nurse or mental health nurse
• Relevant continuing education in management or an educational program that has been started and must be completed
• Experience with shift work
• Previous leadership experience is desirable
• Suitability will be emphasized
• Strong communication skills
• Proficiency in Norwegian—written and spoken
