In the 2026–2027 school year, Brumunddal Middle School will have approximately 380 students and about 50 staff members. The school is organized by grade level, with one grade-level coordinator per grade and two homeroom teachers per class. We are systematically working to improve students’ foundational skills and their mastery of the interdisciplinary themes in the new curriculum. The school has implemented a 1:1 computer program for all students, and digital literacy is a key focus area. The school has strong support systems, including counselors and youth mentors who work closely with teachers and students. Over the next two years, we will be actively working to promote student participation in academic subjects and in the development of social skills. As part of Ringsakerskolen, our ambition is to provide our students with the best possible learning outcomes—both academically and socially.
A full-time (100%) temporary teaching position is available for the 2026–2027 school year, teaching a combination of math and science; language subjects and/or vocational subjects are preferred.
