Bakkehaugen Daycare Center is a six-section daycare center serving children aged 0–3 and 3–6. The daycare center is centrally located in Brumunddal, within walking distance of beautiful natural areas as well as the town’s amenities. The preschool is functionally designed and features, among other things, a dedicated drama/music room, an arts and crafts room, a language workshop, and a common room. We focus on creating a stimulating environment that emphasizes language and social skills, where children have positive play experiences and opportunities to form strong friendships. 

Child and Youth Worker 100% permanent position, available starting January 1, 2027

Job Responsibilities:

Shared responsibility for:

• Educational work in accordance with approved goals and plans
• Ensuring that the work with the children is of high professional and educational quality
• Effective collaboration with parents
• Collaboration with other agencies to ensure quality
• Planning, evaluation, and documentation of the department’s educational content

Qualifications:

• Certification as a child and youth worker
• Relevant work experience is preferred

We offer:

Annual salary for a full-time position: Skilled Worker, official job code 3068: From NOK 475,300 to NOK 551,100.
