Andre Hjemmetjenester is responsible for providing home-based health and care services to clients under the age of 67. Currently, this involves clients under the age of 60 who have injuries resulting from major accidents or other challenging medical and mental health conditions. We also have several children in our department. Our clients have different service plans, which specify how many hours of assistance they receive per week. Some clients receive 24-hour assistance, while others have staff visiting them 3 days a week. The department is committed to ensuring that clients can live their lives the way they want and need to, so that they can manage their daily lives in light of their condition.

“Other Home Care Services” is a separate department under the Home Care Service. The Home Care Service focuses on providing users with high-quality services and facilitating comprehensive care throughout all stages of life. We focus on prevention and coping, and our employees are our most important resource for achieving this. Our vision is to be “Norway’s best Home Care Service.”

We are currently seeking temporary staff for our department who are trained as nurses, social care workers, or healthcare assistants; you may be a student in the health sciences, or an assistant with experience working in the healthcare sector.

Temporary staff are assigned shifts on a rotating basis after vacation schedules are finalized and are called in on short notice in the event of sick leave. We also have temporary positions of both short and long duration. More detailed information about this will be provided during the interview. Applicants will be called in for interviews on an ongoing basis and hired as temporary staff in the department as they apply for the position. We are looking for employees who can work day, evening, and night shifts.

The work location and place of reporting will be at the residents’ homes. This will involve the assisted living facilities in Tømmerli and downtown Brumunddal, Moelv, and Næroset. The number of clients you are responsible for during your shift may vary. However, shifts at Andre Hjemmetjenester are generally unhurried, and you’ll have plenty of time to provide users with quality care and support tailored to their needs. This is therefore a job that can easily be combined with employment at another employer.

It is desirable that temporary staff be able to work with all clients served by Andre Hjemmetjenester.

Job Responsibilities:

• Home care services tailored to the client’s needs. This may involve light practical assistance, guidance, and activities to engage users
• Ensure that approved services/decisions are provided in accordance with applicable laws and the municipality’s and department’s objectives
• Implement environmental measures and work on trust-building initiatives
• Contribute to building good relationships and motivation so that users experience a sense of mastery and a good quality of life
• Administer medications
• Document in our systems: Profil and EQS
• Perform tasks delegated by the Professional Development Nurse and Department Head
• Serve as a good role model
• Contribute to a safe and engaging work environment

Qualifications:

• License as a nurse/social care worker/health care assistant
• Health care students
• Assistants with extensive experience in the healthcare sector
• Strong digital skills
• Experience with medication management
• Strong verbal and written communication skills in Norwegian
• Class B driver’s license

• Licensed Healthcare worker, code 7077: From NOK 475,300 to NOK 551,100.
• Cert. Social care worker, job code 6455: From NOK 570,400 to NOK 664,900.
• Aut. Registered Nurse, job code 7174: From NOK 570,400 to NOK 664,900.
