Scandic Gothenburg Central, located in a new district that is emerging in the former container port, right at the foot of the new Hisingsbron bridge and a stone's throw from the Central Station. The hotel is one of Scandic's largest, with 451 rooms and a large meeting area. The hotel has a lobby bar, café and a lovely Roof Top bar and restaurant overlooking Gothenburg's harbor entrance. We are now looking for an à la carte chef for our two restaurants Above and Foodbar! Regardless of why the guest comes to us, there are few things as appreciated as a friendly face that greets you. As a chef, you act as a host together with the rest of the team at the hotel and create a world-class guest experience. You will play a vital role in the hotel by ensuring a world-class guest experience in our food and beverage environments. Your main tasks will be to plan, prepare and cook food, and to present the food in an appealing way. Who are you? To be suitable for this role, you need to have a passion for food and be attentive to detail and the individual needs of guests. You appreciate orderliness, both in your own work and that of your colleagues. All to give our guests a great dining experience. For this position, we want you to have completed chef training and - or have two years of experience in similar work. Personal qualities and attitude are most important for this position. To fit the role, you need to be a good team player who takes great responsibility for your tasks and the overall result. It is also important that you are able to convey good hospitality to the hotel guests.
