Job Information:

This position is to help staff the kitchen on weekends.

We’re looking for someone who wants to work part-time in our kitchen on weekends. Tasks can range from preparing desserts and appetizers to chopping salad and washing dishes. On weekends, there are 3–4 of us on the kitchen team working at our two restaurants, ANNO1815 and our award-winning steakhouse HÄLL. We’re looking to staff every weekend, but if we find, for example, two good candidates, they can split the shifts every other weekend. We also need staff on weekdays, in case of illness, for events, and more. We’d prefer that you have prior cooking experience.

Your main responsibilities will be to prepare and cook food, as well as to present the dishes in an appealing way. You’ll also provide support as needed and assist the team in other areas of the hotel.

The kitchen has been completely renovated and is equipped with all the latest appliances and equipment.

We only accept applications through our website. All applications will be reviewed on an ongoing basis, and the position may be filled before the application deadline, so we ask that you apply as soon as possible. For this recruitment, we use a simple service test as part of the selection process.

We look forward to welcoming you to Scandic!

Who are you?

To be a good fit for this role, you need to have a passion for food and be attentive to details and guests’ individual needs. You value organization and order, both in your own work and that of your colleagues. All to ensure our guests have a fantastic dining experience. For this position, we require that you have completed culinary training or have acquired equivalent skills through other means. Personal qualities and attitude are the most important factors in this recruitment process. To be a good fit for the role, you need to be a strong team player who takes great responsibility for your tasks and the overall results.

It all starts with you. Working at one of our hotels means being part of a team where thoughtfulness, collaboration, and small everyday moments make a difference. You help create the warm, home-like feeling that characterizes Scandic—by being present, right here and now, and making sure the details matter.

Some days fly by, others are more predictable—no two days are alike. But what always remains is the team spirit. You’re there for one another, solve problems as they arise, and take pride in delivering quality—even when the pace is fast. And when you do that, guests don’t just enjoy their stay—they want to come back.

This is how we work at Scandic

We’re at our best when we work together—across roles, hotels, and teams—and focus on what makes a real difference in everyday life. Our values guide how we act and deliver: Be Pro, Be Bold, Be Caring, and Be You.

If you believe that exceptional hospitality is created through collaboration, consistent quality, and small, well-executed moments, you’ll feel right at home with us.
