What does the role of a conference host entail? As a Meeting & Event host, you are an important ambassador for Scandic as a chain, but above all for Star and our guests' meeting experience. Therefore, it is of great importance that you have a warm welcome and are attentive to details and the guest's needs. You have a passion for service and like order and tidiness, both in your own and your colleagues' work. All to give our guests a great meeting experience. Your main tasks are conference operations, such as welcoming guests in the morning, making coffee, being helpful during the day, assisting with technical issues and much more. No two days are the same. Who are you? To be suitable for this role, we believe you will have at least one year's experience in similar work and experience in concept-driven operations. Since the work largely consists of communicating with guests, fluency in Swedish and good knowledge of English is a prerequisite. If you speak another language, it is an advantage. Most importantly, however, are your personal qualities and attitude. To fit the role, you need to be a responsive and unpretentious team player who takes great responsibility for your tasks and the overall result.
