We are now looking for a Receptionist for the hotel Scandic Sundsvall City who can work during the summer period June-August. The position is a temporary full-time position during the summer period June-August. Training from May / June or by agreement. What does the role of Receptionist entail? As a Front of House/Receptionist, you are responsible for ensuring that our guests receive world-class service. You are the spider in the web that ensures that the guest is always in focus. You are the one who goes through the arrival list and spends time on the details. Making sure that the guest's wishes are fulfilled. You always have a smile on your face and a creative solution in your back pocket. You solve most problems and are a star at turning a dissatisfied guest into a satisfied guest. Your workplace is our lobby. Because that's where you meet the most guests. Your responsibilities also include administrative work, security work and sales work. The work in the Front of House/Reception involves checking in and out the hotel's guests, greeting them and giving them the information they need about their stay. You manage bookings in the Scorpio system and handle administrative tasks around guests and security. All work is done with guest satisfaction and sales in focus. The hotel is open 24 hours a day and it is therefore important that you enjoy working in shifts (mornings, afternoons and weekends). Who are you? To fit the role, we believe that you have well-developed interpersonal skills and are able to handle many different things happening at the same time. It is very important that you can convey good hospitality to the hotel guests. You also have experience and knowledge of working with a computer as a tool. Since the work largely consists of communicating with guests, good knowledge of Swedish and English is a prerequisite. If you speak another language, it is an advantage. Most importantly, however, are your personal qualities and attitude. To fit the role, you need to be a responsive and unpretentious team player who takes great responsibility for your tasks and the overall result.
