We are now looking for a Head Waiter/Shift Leader for our lovely Roof Top Bar, Restaurant Above and Foodbar, at Scandic Gothenburg Central.
Regardless of why the guest comes to us, there are few things as appreciated as a friendly face that greets you. As a Shift Leader, you act as a host together with the rest of the team at the hotel and create a world-class guest experience.

What does the role of Waiter/Shift Leader Restaurant entail?
You are the first guest you meet in our restaurant, so it is of great importance that you have a warm welcome and are attentive to details and the guest's needs. You have a passion for food and drink and like order and tidiness, both in your own work and that of your colleagues. All to give our guests a fantastic dining experience. Your main tasks will be to serve food and drinks and to be responsible for your own cash register. You will also support the team at the hotel with other tasks when needed.
In the role of Shift Leader, you are responsible for hosting the entire hotel both towards guests and employees. In addition to being part of the operation, you have the overall overview of the guest flow in the restaurant and, together with the team, ensure that tasks are prioritized so that the business flows so that the guests are satisfied. You lead and distribute the work and manage the staffing during your shift. If necessary, you will be given the opportunity to train new employees at the hotel and you will also relieve the Restaurant Manager with some administrative tasks.
Who are you?
To be suitable for this role, we believe that you have at least two years of experience in similar work and experience in concept-driven operations. You have both the ability and willingness to work with operational leadership. You are confident in your leadership and have both integrity and sales drive. Most importantly, however, are your personal qualities and attitude. To fit the role, you need to be a good team player who takes great responsibility for your tasks and the overall result. It is also important that you can convey good hospitality to the hotel's guests.

The position is a permanent full-time position, we apply 6 months probationary period.
