Job Description

This is a permanent, part-time position.

As a Night Host, you’ll share responsibility for ensuring the hotel maintains high standards in its meeting and lounge areas. You’ll be the one who ensures our meeting guests experience that “wow factor” when they step into the hotel and their meeting room in the morning. You’ll also be responsible for guest relations, as you’ll be one of the faces of the hotel. You will also assist at the bar/reception desk and perform basic tasks such as checking guests in and out and conducting the night audit. Some cleaning of public areas will also be part of your duties.

This position is a night shift role, so it’s important that you enjoy working nights. Previous night shift experience is a plus.

The work schedule consists of 7 consecutive nights on, followed by 7 nights off. We require a probationary period.

Who are you?

It’s important that you’re hands-on, enjoy varied tasks, and are physically fit, as the job involves heavy lifting. You must have knowledge of property maintenance and a good command of Swedish. We place great emphasis on your personality and ability to work well with others, as all employees are jointly responsible for the guest experience.

For this role, you must be comfortable working independently and be detail-oriented. To be a good fit for the role, we also believe you have well-developed social skills and are capable of handling multiple tasks simultaneously. It is very important that you can provide excellent hospitality to the hotel’s guests. You are a responsive and humble team player who takes great responsibility for your tasks and the overall results.

You also have experience and knowledge of using computers as a work tool.

Since the job largely involves communicating with guests, a good command of Swedish and English is required.
