What does the role entail?

As a member of the front desk team, you’re responsible for ensuring our guests receive world-class service. You’re the hub that keeps the guest at the center of everything. You’re the one who goes through the arrival list and pays attention to the details. You make sure the guest’s requests are met. You always have a smile on your face and a creative solution up your sleeve. You can handle just about anything and are a star at turning a dissatisfied guest into a satisfied one. Your workplace is our lobby, because that’s where you meet the most guests. Your responsibilities also include administrative tasks, security duties, and sales-related work.

Working at the front desk involves checking hotel guests in and out, welcoming them, and providing the information they need about their stay. You’ll manage bookings in the Opera Cloud system and handle administrative tasks related to guests and security. All work is focused on guest satisfaction and sales.

The hotel is open 24/7, so it’s important that you enjoy working shifts (mornings, afternoons, and weekends).

Who are you?

To be a good fit for this role, we believe you have well-developed social skills and are capable of handling multiple tasks simultaneously. It is very important that you can provide excellent hospitality to the hotel’s guests.

You also have experience and knowledge of working with computers as a tool.

Since the job largely consists of communicating with guests, a good command of Swedish and English is a requirement. Speaking an additional language is a plus.

Most important, however, are your personal qualities and your attitude. To be a good fit for the role, you need to be a responsive and humble team player who takes great responsibility for your tasks and the overall results.

Job Information

This is a permanent part-time position. The work schedule is night shifts 7 days every other week, Wednesday through Wednesday.
