A stone's throw from Helsingborg city center is the new Oceanhamnen district and our new hotel of the same name, Scandic Oceanhamnen. Like a lighthouse, the hotel faces the Sound and welcomed its first guests in May 2022. The hotel has 184 rooms, meeting rooms, a restaurant, an outdoor terrace, a rooftop bar and a large relaxation area. Scandic Oceanhamnen is a unique hotel in many ways and has a clear profile with a lot of new thinking that, in addition to the highest service, puts sustainability in focus. We are now looking for a Night Receptionist for the hotel Scandic Oceanhamnen. As a Night Receptionist, you act as a host together with the rest of the team at the hotel and create a world-class guest experience. What does the role of Night Receptionist entail? Working in the Front of House area, you are responsible for ensuring that our guests receive world-class service. You are the spider in the web that makes sure the guest is always in focus. You're the one who goes through the arrival list and spends time on the details. Making sure that the guest's wishes are fulfilled. You always have a smile on your face and a creative solution in your back pocket. You solve most problems and are a star at turning a dissatisfied guest into a satisfied guest. Your workplace is our lobby. Because that's where you meet the most guests. Your responsibilities also include administrative work, security work and sales work. Front of House work involves checking guests in and out of the hotel, greeting them and giving them the information they need about their stay. You manage bookings in the Opera Cloud system and handle administrative tasks around guests and security. All work is done with guest satisfaction and sales in focus. Who are you? To fit the role, we believe that you have well-developed social skills and are able to handle many different things happening at the same time. It is very important that you can convey good hospitality to the hotel guests. You also have experience and knowledge of working with a computer as a tool. Since the work largely consists of communicating with guests, good knowledge of Swedish and English is a prerequisite. If you speak another language, it is an advantage. Most importantly, however, are your personal qualities and attitude. To fit the role, you need to be a responsive and unpretentious team player who takes great responsibility for your tasks and the overall result. Information about the position: This is a permanent position of approx. 83%. Working hours are 22.30-07.15 Monday to Sunday every other week. Training takes place during the month of August.
