What does the role entail?

As a housekeeper at Scandic, you’re responsible for ensuring the hotel maintains high standards and runs smoothly for our guests. You’ll work closely with the hotel operations, primarily in guest rooms and common areas, where you’ll combine hands-on maintenance with excellent service and a friendly demeanor.In this role, you’ll be responsible for day-to-day operations as well as planned and corrective maintenance of the hotel’s premises, installations, and equipment. You’ll also work on optimizing the building’s heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems and monitoring energy consumption.You’ll handle the hotel’s fire safety and security measures, as well as preventive and emergency property maintenance. Sustainability is a natural part of the job, and we’re looking for someone who is organized, meticulous, flexible, and thrives in an environment where no two days are alike. You will report to the Property Manager.

Whether it’s handling simple repairs, waste management, maintaining our facilities, or assisting a guest, you approach every task with dedication and an eye for quality. You are flexible, a team player, and contribute to a positive work environment. Experience in property management, technology, or skilled trades is a plus.
