Scandic Mölndal is centrally located at Mölndals Galleria with good communications to Gothenburg. The entire hotel is recently renovated and has a very inviting environment for our guests. We are now looking for a combined position as Receptionist and Waiter (Waiter/Server) at Scandic Mölndal. What does the role involve? As a team member in this combined role, you'll be the first person our guests meet - both in the restaurant and at the hotel reception. Therefore, a warm welcome, a high level of service and attention to detail are crucial. You have a genuine interest in food, drink and hospitality, and like to create order and structure - both in your own work and together with colleagues. In the restaurant, you will be responsible for serving food and drinks, creating a pleasant atmosphere and ensuring that the guest's dining experience is memorable. You are responsible for your own cash register and support other parts of the business when needed. At the front desk, you will act as the spider in the web, ensuring that every guest receives world-class service. You check guests in and out, manage bookings in Opera Cloud, work with sales, security and administrative tasks. You'll keep track of arrival lists, guests' requests and make sure to create personalized experiences - always with a smile and a solution-oriented attitude. The position involves varied working hours, including shifts in the mornings, afternoons and weekends. Flexibility, a sense of responsibility and a passionate commitment to service are keys to success in this role. Who are you? To fit the role, we believe you will have well-developed interpersonal skills and be able to cope with many different things happening at the same time. It is very important that you can convey good hospitality to the hotel guests. You also have experience and knowledge of working with a computer as a tool. Since the work largely consists of communicating with guests, good knowledge of Swedish and English is a prerequisite. If you speak another language, it is an advantage. Most importantly, however, are your personal qualities and attitude. To fit the role, you need to be a responsive and unpretentious team player who takes great responsibility for your tasks and the overall result.
