What does the role involve?
As a receptionist, you are responsible for ensuring that our guests receive world-class service. You are the spider in the web that ensures that the guest is always in focus. You are the one who goes through the arrival list and spends time on the details. Making sure that the guest's wishes are fulfilled. You always have a smile on your face and a creative solution in your back pocket. You solve most problems and are a star at turning a dissatisfied guest into a satisfied guest. Your workplace is our lobby. Because that's where you meet the most guests. The area of responsibility also includes administrative work, security work and work with sales.
The work at the reception involves checking in and out the hotel's guests, welcoming them and giving the guest the information they need about their stay. You manage bookings in the Opera Cloud system and handle administrative tasks around guests and security. All work is done with guest satisfaction and sales in focus.
The hotel is open 24 hours a day and it is therefore important that you enjoy working in shifts (mornings, afternoons and weekends).
Who are you?
To fit the role, we believe that you have well-developed social skills and are capable of dealing with many different things happening at the same time. It is very important that you can convey good hospitality to the hotel guests.
You also have the habit and knowledge of working with a computer as a working tool.
Since the work largely consists of communicating with guests, good knowledge of Swedish and English is a prerequisite. If you speak another language, it is an advantage.
Most importantly, however, are your personal qualities and your attitude. To fit the role, you need to be a responsive and unpretentious team player who takes great responsibility for your tasks and the overall result.
Information about the positionThe position is a permanent part-time position, 80%.
