What does the role involve? As a receptionist, you are responsible for ensuring that our guests receive world-class service. You are the spider in the web that ensures that the guest is always in focus. You're the one who goes through the arrival list and spends time on the details. Making sure that the guest's wishes are fulfilled. You always have a smile on your face and a creative solution in your back pocket. You solve most problems and are a star at turning a dissatisfied guest into a satisfied guest. Your workplace is our lobby. Because that's where you meet the most guests. Your responsibilities also include administrative work, security work and sales work. Working at reception means checking guests in and out, greeting them and giving them the information they need about their stay. You manage bookings in the Opera Cloud system and handle administrative tasks around guests and security. All work is done with guest satisfaction and sales in focus. Our reception is also responsible for our bar and restaurant in the evenings so your responsibility will also be to take food and drink orders, serving and picking dishes. This is a service that involves mostly evenings every other weekend but as the hotel is open around the clock, mornings may occur. Who are you? To fit the role, we believe that you have well-developed social skills and are able to handle many different things happening at the same time. It is very important that you can convey good hospitality to the hotel guests. You also have experience and knowledge of working with a computer as a tool, and preferably experience of the booking program Opera Cloud and the POS system Oracle Simphony. Since the work largely consists of communicating with guests, good knowledge of Swedish and English is a prerequisite. If you speak another language, it is an advantage. You must be able to work under high pressure and handle stressful situations and be able to make your own decisions. You must be able to work across departmental boundaries and assist other departments when necessary. Most importantly, however, are your personal qualities and your attitude. To fit the role, you need to be a responsive and unpretentious team player who takes great responsibility for your tasks and the overall result.
