Only 150 meters from Linköping Central Station is Scandic Frimurarehotellet - the hotel where tradition and future meet. Located right next to the Cathedral in one of Linköping's most beautiful buildings is our modern and relaxed hotel dating back to 1912. The hotel is Östergötland's largest and organizes everything from meetings and weddings to large banquets. We who work here are almost a hundred employees and we have our origins from about the whole world, just like our guests. The fact that we are a large hotel and that the three Scandic hotels in Linköping have joint management means that there are very good development opportunities for our employees.

What does the role involve?
You are the first guest to meet in our restaurant, so it is of great importance that you have a warm welcome and are attentive to details and the guest's needs. You have a burning interest in food and drink and like order and orderliness, both in your own and your colleagues' work. All to give our guests a fantastic dining experience. Your main tasks will be to serve food and drinks and to be responsible for your own cash register. You will of course also support the team at the hotel with other tasks when needed.
Who are you?
To fit the role, we believe that you have a few years of experience in similar work and experience of working together in teams. Since the work largely consists of communicating with guests, good knowledge of Swedish and English is a prerequisite. If you speak another language, it is meritorious.
Most importantly, however, are your personal qualities and your attitude. To fit the role, you need to be a responsive and unpretentious team player who takes great responsibility for your tasks and the overall result. It is also important that you can convey good hospitality to the hotel's guests.
Information about the position:
The position is a permanent part-time position.
We apply a probationary period. Your immediate manager will be our Restaurant and Event Manager. The position includes evening shifts and night shifts during weekdays and weekends.
Start date as soon as possible.
