Just north of Malmö, a few turns in from the E20 is the newly renovated Scandic Segevång. Despite its location close to nature, it is close to central Malmö and communications there are good. In this role as Front Office & Conference Manager you are responsible for: Overall responsibility for the hotel's meeting department and part of the day-to-day operations where our meeting guests will receive world-class service. Here you ensure with your team that the meeting guest is always in focus whether it is the room they are sitting in or the hospitality at their meals. You lead and develop the business and employees based on the company's strategy, goals and local conditions. You have a passion for service and through your leadership you inspire and motivate your employees and create the conditions for you to create outstanding guest experiences together. As Front Office Manager, you are also part of the daily operations and you are responsible for planning and staffing based on the needs of the business. You are part of the hotel's management team, which means that together with your colleagues you have overall responsibility for the entire hotel. Who are you? You are a leader who takes being present at different times and days for granted and takes a holistic approach to everything you do. You will have previous experience of managing others in a similar role and relevant training and experience in the service industry. You have good administrative skills, experience of financial planning and follow-up, and good experience of working in various systems. You also need to have a good knowledge of Swedish and English, both spoken and written. Information about the position: The position is a permanent full-time position. As Front Office & Conference Manager, you will be responsible for the hotel's reception and conference department. The position involves administrative tasks as well as daily operations in the reception and conference department with, among other things, check-in and check-out, furnishing of conference rooms and handling of coffee breaks.
