We're looking for an experienced Breakfast Manager for Scandic Talk.

As Breakfast Manager, you'll be the one who motivates, drives, develops and engages everyone in the team to take great personal responsibility for improving working methods and service as the world around us changes. What does the role involve?

In this role as Breakfast Manager, you are responsible for our breakfast department where you have the overall responsibility for ensuring that the breakfast experience is world-class in terms of both treatment and quality. This means that together with your team, you ensure a high level of service and an offer that meets the guest's needs. You and your team are also responsible for ensuring that our meeting guests receive lunch and snacks during their stay with us.

You lead and develop the business and employees based on the company's strategy, goals and local conditions. You have a passion for service and through your leadership you inspire and motivate your employees and create the conditions for you to deliver outstanding guest experiences together. As Breakfast Manager, you are also part of the daily operations and you are responsible for planning and staffing based on the needs of the business. You are part of the hotel's management team, which means that together with your colleagues you have overall responsibility for the entire hotel.

Who are you?

You are positive about change and have the ability to lead others through it, are flexible and have the ability to see solutions and build relationships. You need to have a good understanding and flexibility for a varying operation, we are a fair hotel where the number of guests shifts greatly from day to day. You have experience from working at breakfast, conference and event lunches, and a drive to develop our department. You have a good ability to plan long-term.

You are a leader, who sees it as a matter of course to be present at different times and days and have a holistic perspective in everything you do. You recognize the benefits of collaboration, give regular feedback and are communicative in your leadership style. You plan your time and work purposefully towards short- and long-term goals. You live our values and act as a role model in your role.

You have previous experience in leading others in a similar role and relevant education and experience in the service industry. You have good administrative skills, experience of financial planning and follow-up and good experience of working in various system support. You also need to have good knowledge of Swedish and English, both in speech and writing.

The position is a permanent full-time position.

Probationary period 6 months
