Would you like to work with large machines—with the ocean as your closest neighbor?

For our operations in Piteå, we’re looking for a Vehicle Mechanic specializing in maintenance. Here, you’ll have a varied and hands-on role where, together with knowledgeable colleagues, you’ll ensure that our machinery and vehicles are safe, available, and ready for the next assignment.

About the Role

As a Vehicle Mechanic, you’ll handle routine service, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs for our machinery and vehicles. Our fleet consists of about 30 units and includes wheel loaders, forklifts, trucks, excavators, and passenger cars—such as the BM L90 and L220, as well as forklifts from Svetruck.

The work is varied and independent, while you’ll also be part of a knowledgeable and service-oriented team. You’ll perform preventive troubleshooting and help ensure that our machinery maintains high levels of safety and availability.

In this role, your responsibilities will include

  • performing service, maintenance, and repairs on machinery and vehicles
  • troubleshooting and resolving technical issues
  • performing preventive and corrective maintenance
  • document and follow up on completed work in our digital systems
  • contribute to a safe and well-functioning fleet of machinery
  • collaborate with colleagues and external suppliers as needed.

Who are you?

We’re looking for someone who enjoys solving problems and takes responsibility for ensuring the work is done properly. You are meticulous, hands-on, and thrive in a work environment where tasks vary.

You work well independently but also appreciate being part of a team where you help each other out when needed. For you, safety and quality are integral parts of the job.

We believe you have

  • training in automotive or workshop technology, or equivalent experience
  • experience with workshop work, preferably with a focus on heavy vehicles and machinery
  • a Class B driver’s license
  • extensive experience working with digital systems.

We offer you:

  • varied and hands-on work in an exciting port environment
  • the opportunity to work with a wide range of machinery and vehicles
  • an independent role with responsibility and varied tasks
  • close collaboration with knowledgeable and dedicated colleagues
  • a growing organization where your ideas and expertise can make a difference
  • collective bargaining agreements, wellness allowances, and attractive benefits

Employment Type: Permanent position with a 6-month probationary period

Work Environment: Safety and well-being are our top priorities

Diversity: We value different perspectives and experiences. We welcome applicants who can contribute to our continued development.
