The position

As a control room engineer with us, you have a central and responsible role in monitoring and regulating our dust and electricity production facilities to achieve the best possible economic results over time. You work in the operations center, the heart of Skellefteå Kraft, where you collaborate widely within the group and contribute to the safe, secure and stable operation of socially critical infrastructure.

In the role, you are responsible for monitoring and regulating our hydro and wind power facilities as well as the electricity grid after regular office hours. You ensure that no judgment violations occur and plan production taking into account spot price, efficiency and storage locations. You also handle deviations linked to both plants and electricity grids, where your ability to analyze and make informed decisions is crucial.

You will be part of a department with about 42 employees where three different groups work with trading, planning and operation and monitoring. The group is characterized by experience, cooperation and a desire to develop the business. Here you will have the opportunity to actively contribute to the development of tomorrow's operations center and to how we drive and optimize our production forward.

The position is a permanent full-time position with location in Skellefteå. The work is carried out in shifts, including night work, and work peaks may occur. Access as soon as possible or as agreed.

Interested

We are looking for you who have a strong collaborative ability and who contribute to the team's results by sharing knowledge, supporting colleagues and creating progress together with others. You are confident in your skills and thrive in a role where collaboration is a prerequisite for success.

You work in a structured and thorough manner, follow routines and ensure quality in your work from start to finish. At the same time, you have well-developed problem-solving skills and can analyze complex situations, see connections and make decisions based on available information.

The role requires you to be stress-resistant and able to keep calm even when the pace is high or when conditions change quickly. You have confidence in your own abilities and act with judgment in situations where quick and correct decisions are required.
