The job As a dam technical expert, you will play a key role in ensuring that our dam facilities maintain the right level of dam safety, today and over time. You will be responsible for assessing the status of the facilities, identifying deficiencies and developing and coordinating actions. A good result in the role is a systematic and long-term dam safety work where we ensure a high level of dam safety. The assignment includes leading investigations, contributing technical knowledge of dam construction, maintenance and safe operation, during operation, maintenance and reconstruction. You also work on establishing and updating internal company rules in the field of dam safety, based on legislation, regulatory requirements and RIDAS, and ensure the continuous development of our safety management system. You will report to the Group Manager Power Generation Plant Management, the Business Unit Manager Power Generation and the company's Group Management and also liaise with regulatory authorities. The role involves close cooperation with the in-house Asset Management group, which consists of nine employees focusing on asset status and long-term management. In addition, you interact with other groups within the business unit, support functions, Energy Services, external contractors and authorities and industry organizations. There is already a dam technology expert in the organization, which means that you will be part of an established function with high competence and the opportunity to exchange experience. The position is a permanent full-time position based in Skellefteå. Access at the end of April or as agreed. Travel is included in the service and overnight stays may occur, mainly during spring and fall. You are part of crisis management in the event of serious events at dam facilities and emergency response may occur in special situations. Interested?
