We are now looking for an Environmental Controller for the Environmental Department for employment in Skellefteå. Welcome with your application! The service In the role of Environmental Controller, you will mainly support our Electricity Grid operations with environment-related competence and resources. You work closely with the Environmental Controller at Electricity/Fiber Network as well as business management and facility managers and report directly to the Environmental Manager. You will handle environment-related issues linked to management, changes and expansion as well as contribute to developing environmental work within the business and the entire group. You will work with concession and permit-related issues with associated authority contacts and consultation with stakeholders or those particularly affected. The role includes coordination of environment-related projects, investigations and environmental impact statements as well as supporting the operations in operational and systematic environmental work. As the environment-related requirements for our business are constantly changing and the requirements are sharpened over time, it is required that you can interpret and translate new conditions into constructive and practical solutions and adapt working methods together with the business. In your role, you will deal with many issues from different perspectives such as environment, biology, law and technology. This means that it is important that you can independently analyze the needs that exist and come up with suitable solutions and documentation, either on your own or together with the skills and resources you deem necessary. With us, you will be part of the Environmental Department, which is a group-wide department and part of the Group Staff. The department consists of ten people, one of whom is the head of the department. Together, we maintain a good working climate where everyone feels stimulated and involved in the work. In close cooperation with our operations and stakeholders, we enable sustainable social development and energy supply and carry out initiatives for biological diversity. All to contribute to our goal of 100% renewable power. The position is 100% permanent employment with location in Skellefteå. Trips to Skellefteå Kraft's facilities, projects and operations occur. In the role, you will have both internal and external contacts, which places high demands on good social skills and that you enjoy collaborating with people in many different contexts. Requirement • University or higher education in environment-related fields. Alternatively, equivalent competence through work experience or courses • Good ability to express yourself in Swedish and English in both speech and writing • B driving license Meritorious • Education in ecology, biology, GIS, management systems, audits according to ISO 14001, project management, circular economy, or equivalent knowledge acquired through previous work experience • Experience of working in the energy industry • Experience in leading environmental and permit-related projects • Experience of having worked with or having knowledge of Swedish environmental legislation, official practice • Experience in compiling and presenting information in a pedagogically appropriate way for the target group, as well as critically reviewing documents to ensure that they correctly describe the business and meet regulatory requirements • Experience with deviation management systems, chemical management systems, support systems for project management and GIS systems • Knowledge of the Office package Who are we then?
