As a Power Trading Engineer, you will help us create maximum value from our generation assets through forecasting and physical trading in the electricity and balance markets. You focus on forecasting, production planning, production management as well as bidding and trading on the physical markets for electricity and support services. You develop optimization models and planning tools and monitor and ensure continuous compliance with regulations for the current markets. The tasks also include carrying out investment investigations and calculations for hydropower, wind power and cogeneration.
With us, you become part of the Physical Trade group, which today consists of fourteen employees in close cooperation with each other. Together we support and help each other to provide the group with the very best support in production optimization and physical power trading.
The position is 100% permanent employment. Access as soon as possible or by agreement. The working hours are scheduled office hours on weekdays and every six to eight weeks daytime weekend with availability.

• Civil engineering or master's degree with a focus on energy, electric power, mathematics, technical physics, statistics, computer technology, programming or industrial economics, alternatively many years of relevant work experience from an operation center for electricity production and/or physical power trading
• Good knowledge of Swedish and English, both spoken and written
• B driving license
• Previous experience from electricity/power trading, planning and optimization of power systems, or system development for production optimization
• Good knowledge of the electricity market and power systems
• Good knowledge of programming, optimization, object-based data models, mathematics and statistical analysis
