The position As a Project and Investigation Engineer, you will work with technical investigations and requirement setting within your technology domain with a focus on electrical power linked to our wind and hydro power operations. The role is important to ensure that our facilities meet technical requirements, standards and quality levels, both today and in the future. You staff projects as a technical requirements engineer and follow up on execution through, for example, technical review, inspections and participation in FAT and SAT. An important part of the work is also to be a technical support to the operation and maintenance organization through status assessments and documentation for maintenance plans. The role includes developing technical instructions, contributing to calculations and feasibility studies for investments, and developing technical documentation and priorities for measures in the facilities. You will also work on analyses and investigations where experiences and lessons learned are translated into new working methods, methods and proposed solutions. The work involves many contact areas where you interact with project managers, plant engineers, operations and maintenance organizations, contractors and suppliers. You will also keep up to date with developments in the field through external monitoring, such as R&D initiatives and changing external requirements. You will be part of the KPT Power Systems Power Generation Technology group. The group consists of specialists and senior engineers in several technology areas linked to our power plants. Together we work long-term to secure the operation and develop the technology in our plants. The position is a permanent full-time position based in Skellefteå or Norsjö. Access takes place as soon as possible or by agreement. Travel to our facilities occurs in the service and may sometimes involve overnight stays. At the same time, you are meticulous and act with integrity in your work, especially when it comes to ensuring compliance with requirements, guidelines and technical standards. We also believe that you contribute to an open and transparent way of working where you raise risks, non-conformities and technical challenges in a timely manner so that we can find the best solutions together. Requirements - Engineering education or many years of work experience relevant to the relevant technology domain and role. - Several years of experience in technical work in electrical power, energy, industry, automation or other related technology area. - Driving license B Meritorious - ESA - Experience as a designer or engineer in Electric Power - Experience in wind power / hydropower and knowledge of the power system components involved. - Experience in power grid components such as transformers, switchgear, relay protection, PLC and scada systems, etc. - Drawing work in Autocad/Elprocad More about Skellefteå Kraft We are one of Sweden's largest energy companies.
