The position
In the role of relay protection engineer, you will work with testing and configuration of relay protection as well as remedial and preventive maintenance of transformers, circuit breakers, UPS and other equipment in switchgear plants. The work includes performing calculations of protection settings, troubleshooting and fault investigations as well as participation in commissioning of various types of switchgear 0.4kV-40kV.
In your role, you also act as sales support and resource in quotation work, including for upgrades and rebuilds of power equipment. You work closely with our electricians as well as our customers.
In order to maintain a high level of availability in the electricity network, work on preventive maintenance and compliance with policies and procedures is extremely important. You are responsible for ensuring that contracted assignments and tasks are of a high quality.
With us, you will be part of the Technology group, which belongs to the Energy Services Projects department. The group consists of a group manager, two service technicians, two mechanical engineers, three project and investigation engineers, four machine analysts and a relay protection technician. We are a close-knit group that enjoys working and working with each other.
The position is a 100% permanent position. Work at other locations occurs and may involve overnight stays. Some overtime work may be required. Selection may take place on an ongoing basis during the advertising period. Access is according to agreement.

Requirements
- University engineer with a specialization in Electrical Power or equivalent specialization and several years of work experience in the professional field.
- Good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written
- B-driving license
Meritorious
- Good knowledge of English, both spoken and written
