Do you want to make Sweden’s energy transition a reality? We are currently looking for a Safety Coordinator for Power Generation Strategy.

We look forward to receiving your application!

Who We Are

At Skellefteå Kraft, we’re determined to make Sweden’s energy transition a reality. We’re driving the production of renewable energy and the electrification of society. We also power everyday life and society—from keeping preschools warm when children arrive in the morning to ensuring hospitals and industries run around the clock. And we do it together as a team, where skilled colleagues support and help each other grow. Would you like to join us?

The Position

As a Safety Coordinator with us, you’ll play a key role in coordinating, developing, and strengthening safety efforts within the Power Systems business area. As safety requirements continue to increase, we need to establish clear structures and work methods that support our operations, both today and in the long term.

A central part of the role is to train, support, and guide colleagues, as well as to plan, implement, and follow up on various security initiatives. You will also conduct analyses and translate the results into concrete plans and actions.

In this role, you will identify, assess, and analyze risks, as well as monitor changes that may affect the organization’s safety efforts. You will follow up on agreed-upon measures and help ensure that work is conducted in accordance with current laws, directives, regulations, and best practices. Monitoring the external environment and maintaining contacts with both internal and external parties are also important parts of the role.

You will be part of the Power Generation Strategy team, where you will work alongside experienced colleagues with broad strategic expertise in hydro and wind power. The group is characterized by a strong sense of community, a collaborative and down-to-earth work culture, and a shared commitment to developing the business together. Since the organization is relatively new, there are excellent opportunities to help shape structures and work processes. You will report to the group manager and work closely with the company’s Risk and Safety department as well as the business area’s technical experts.

This is a full-time, permanent position based in Skellefteå. The work is primarily performed from the office, but visits to our facilities are part of the role. Start date to be agreed upon.

Interested?

We’re looking for someone who works in a structured and meticulous manner, with the ability to plan, organize, and follow up on your work. You have a high level of integrity, good judgment, and feel confident in making well-founded decisions and standing by your assessments, even in challenging situations.

You enjoy collaborating, building relationships, and creating networks both within and outside the organization. With a humble approach, you engage others and contribute to a collaborative work environment.

You are proactive, independent, and have the ability to drive issues forward. With an analytical and solution-oriented approach, you see connections, understand the organization’s needs, and translate ideas and analyses into solutions that work in practice.
