We are looking for support staff for social psychiatry who want to be part of a work team where we work mostly for others, but also for each other. We are looking for two employees to join our staffing team, which consists of support assistants and support staff. The staffing team in social psychiatry works towards a number of group homes and service homes that are in the central town and in Kåge. In the staffing team, you must be able to flexibly switch between different accommodations and adapt your work and working hours based on different situations and working methods. You are expected to be able to get between workplaces independently. The work means that you have scheduled working hours day, evening, weekend and are booked by the Support and Service Staffing Unit. There may be an on-call night or a wake-up call if necessary. Löftesgränd 37 is a serviced residence located on Morö Backe and we are looking for an employee here. Our home is a combined tight service home and satellite home and 7 people work for us. We work every day of the year, day, evening, on-call and weekend. We are looking for two employees for Villagatan 23, which is a tight serviced residence centrally located in Sörböle. There are 15 people connected and a staff of eight people. The working hours also include weekends and on-call. Welcome to become one of us! WORK DUTIES Social psychiatry works with people with mental illness as well as people with disabilities who need support to varying extents to increase the opportunities for an independent and meaningful life, at home, at work and in their free time. As support staff, your most important mission is to encourage and promote participation and self-determination among our users. Our goal is to create a social community where everyone feels welcome and included. In addition to respectfully supporting our users in their personal care, you must also plan and prepare meals that suit individual needs. The environment must be pleasant and pleasant for both the individual and the group. By creating clear goals and structured implementation plans, we help our users achieve greater independence. We always plan the support to ensure that each individual receives just the right support at the right time - neither too much nor too little. The work of planning and implementing activities is done together with our users. You have close cooperation with relatives, resource persons and other work groups. Cooperation with the individual's network and other authorities and functions is also included in the work. QUALIFICATIONS We are looking for support staff who have knowledge and understanding of mental illness, disabilities and their impact on the individual. We would also like to see support assistants apply for the job. It is good if you have experience of dealing with people with aggressive behaviour. If you also have experience of working with people who have mental illness, substance abuse and problem-causing behaviour, we see that as meritorious. You have a health-promoting approach and see the healthy by utilizing and developing the person's abilities. You have knowledge and interest in working pedagogically and can communicate verbally and in writing in Swedish. Creating good relationships and cooperating with other people is a matter of course for you. Skellefteå municipality is a Finnish and Sami administrative municipality, it is therefore advantageous if you know Finnish or Sami. If you also know sign language, we see it as an asset in our operations. OTHER The Social Office's employees provide care, concern and support to people throughout Skellefteå. They can be elderly, people with physical or mental disabilities or individuals and families in need of special support for a period. Our operations are located all over the municipality and we have specialists in several areas within care, care, nutrition, support and activation for the disabled, substance abuse treatment, family counseling and much more.
