The Maintenance Technology department is now looking for a structured spare parts buyer in the area of ​​spare parts supply. The department is responsible for developing and improving maintenance activities for all the facility's equipment, to ensure availability with good cost control, where spare parts supply is an important area. About the service Smurfit Kappa Piteå has a spare parts warehouse with around 20,000 items. With the large number, a rational re-acquisition process is needed. In addition to identifying, evaluating and implementing strategic purchasing models for different spare parts groups, the service involves: - create, manage and evaluate quotation requests - negotiate and draw up agreements - create orders - manage delivery and invoice deviations - maintain master data - know, develop and follow up routines for SOX control - perform administrative tasks within the storage operations' areas of responsibility - initiate and drive development and improvement work regarding the purchasing process, administrative systems, routines, methods and tools. Your profile We are looking for you who have high school qualifications, with current and relevant experience for the profession. You must have good knowledge of machine components and preferably the manufacturing industry, as the work is cross-functional with many contact surfaces towards maintenance and production. Furthermore, you should be familiar with IT tools such as SAP and Excel to effectively process the large amount of data available. Your command of Swedish and English in speech and writing is a prerequisite for the job as a spare parts buyer. Education/experience in maintenance, logistics and purchasing/procurement is advantageous, but not a requirement. As a person, you are responsible and structured. You have flexibility and good cooperation skills. We are looking for someone who has commitment and good problem-solving skills.
