Are you the one? The Maintenance Engineering department is looking for a structured Inspection Technician in the field of Pressurized devices.
The department is responsible for third-party inspection, continuous inspection and vibration measurement, hydraulics and lubrication, planning and coordination of maintenance stops. The department also develops maintenance and maintenance systems. The department's ambition is to be at the forefront of development and digitization.
About the position
The Supervisory Technician position is perfect for those who want to alternate technical investigations and practical work with associated administration. Your main responsibility is the technical area of safety valves, where you are responsible for the annual inspections and perform continuous supervision including exercise of safety valves on pressurized devices, as well as risk assessments. The assignment also includes work order management and documentation of the inspection and archiving according to current procedures. Technical investigations are a natural part of your work, as is the work on continuous improvements that permeate the business.
We offer you a varied assignment with great freedom to work within your area of responsibility. The work is done in close collaboration with the Maintenance Engineer, who is responsible for compliance with current legislation, plant technicians who perform pipe marking, colleagues in production, and external partners.
Your introduction includes training in current regulations, flow chart review and practical work, parts of the introduction are carried out together with control bodies and control technicians at an external company. As you develop and build on your skills, we see that within a few years there are good opportunities for you to advance and take on more qualified tasks within the department.
Your profile
We are looking for you with a university degree with a technical focus, and with experience of investigative work. Experience in maintenance is an advantage. Perhaps you have a few years of experience in the process industry, but this is not a requirement.
It is important that you are a person who takes responsibility for your tasks, is driven and takes your work forward. You are a good administrator, have a good ability to structure your work. Understand the importance of order and are comfortable working in maintenance systems.
As the work is largely done with others, you value diversity and the knowledge and experience of others. You like problem solving and enjoy collaborating to find the best solution. You are easy to learn and curious to absorb technical skills and information. You are flexible with your tasks and adapt your work to the needs of the business.
