We are certified for Work Environment ISO 45001 and you will participate in the administration, development and management of the system. We place great demands on our work environment system being an integral part of the business, being appropriate and supporting the company's development. As a health and safety engineer, you will be part of the team of internal auditors who check our various management systems. You will manage the compliance system, monitor legislation in the field and communicate changes. You work in a supportive and advisory capacity and carry out follow-ups in the organization. As a work environment engineer, you work closely with managers and employees within the organization.
The position also involves;
- leading or participating in various projects and investigations in the field of occupational health and safety
- leading the personal protective equipment (PPE) team
- carrying out or coordinating health and safety and occupational hygiene measurements and risk assessments
- working on the fulfillment of other requirements from, for example, the group, such as behavior-based safety talks.
- initiate and implement training initiatives
- interact with the trade union safety representatives.
You are subordinate to the Work Environment/Safety Manager and the department also coordinates fire protection. The department works primarily with preventive work and promotes a good working environment.
Who are you?
We are looking for someone who creates good relationships and who has the ability to motivate to change working methods. You are pedagogical and have good communication skills. Furthermore, you are structured and thorough and are an experienced administrator. The position requires a good ability to express yourself both in writing and orally in Swedish and English.
We are looking for you who have a relevant academic degree, preferably a work environment engineer at university or college level. You have a few years of experience in work environment issues and have knowledge of laws and regulations. Experience in the process industry and from an international group is an advantage.

The position is a permanent full-time position. The location of the employment is Piteå with access according to agreement.
