Fryal school is idyllically located approx. 2 km south of Hov center with proximity to Randsfjorden and is built together with Søndre Land middle school. It is the largest primary school in the municipality, with around 260 pupils. We have a good and supportive working environment with lots of laughter!

Facts about the position:

• Fryal school is looking for a teacher in arts and crafts in the middle school for a 30% permanent position from 01.08.2026

Tasks

• Provide students with good academic guidance so that they experience mastery
• Map and follow up the student's development academically and socially
• Document the student's progression against goals and measures
• Contribute to the school's work to create a safe and good learning environment
• Contribute to a good school-home collaboration

Requirements:

• Fulfill the Education Act's requirements for appointment and teaching competence to teach arts and crafts at primary school level
• Minimum 30 credits in arts and crafts
• Good ICT skills
• Good reading and writing skills in Norwegian

Should requirements:

• Have experience from COS el. which is about seeing each individual student, recognizing their feelings and helping them deal with challenges
