Hov medical center is looking for a committed and versatile health secretary for a position that combines practical clinical tasks with administrative responsibilities. We are looking for you who thrive on varied tasks and who want to contribute to an efficient and professional operation of the medical center - both in front of and behind the scenes.

You will be part of a skilled and committed team consisting of GPs, LIS 1, health secretaries and bioengineers. We emphasize a good working environment, cooperation and high professional quality.

The medical service in Søndre Land municipality is led by a department manager with an office at the medical center. This ensures close follow-up and good support in everyday work.

Work tasks

Practical part:

  • Receiving and handling patient inquiries via telephone, electronically and at the reception desk
  • Contact with emergency services, ambulance, AMK and other partners
  • Laboratory work, including blood sampling and analysis of patient samples
  • Performing ECG, spirometry, 24-hour BT
  • Injections and wound care
  • Shift room work and assistance with minor surgical procedures
  • Assistance with acute medical conditions

Administrative part:

  • Timekeeping and patient logistics
  • Ordering and follow-up of consumables and medical equipment
  • Mail handling, record keeping and simple case management
  • Coordination and support to the management of the department
  • Contribute to routine development and streamlining
  • Occasional tasks such as mail handling and goods ordering
  • Deputy for the head of department

Requirements:

  • Education as a health secretary or health professional educationGood IT skills
  • Good Norwegian skills, both oral and written

Should requirements:

  • Experience from a doctor's office is desirable, but not a requirement
