Description of the workplace.
The Construction and Maintenance Department consists of 10 employees and is responsible for the management, operation, and maintenance of municipal buildings and outdoor areas. We work to ensure functional, safe, and pleasant facilities, housing, and outdoor areas for the municipality’s residents and employees. The department has a varied and hands-on workday and collaborates closely with other municipal services to properly manage the municipality’s properties.
Job Details:
- The Construction and Maintenance Department is seeking an employee for a 25% position as a case officer, with responsibilities in the management of municipal housing and contributing to the municipality’s housing strategy efforts.
- The position is compensated at the consultant/senior consultant level (depending on qualifications)
Job Responsibilities
Case manager for applications for municipal housing
Secretary for the municipality’s Housing Committee, which has decision-making authority regarding applications for municipal housing
- Participate in the municipality’s housing development efforts as delegated by the Head of Construction and Maintenance
- Handle inquiries from tenants in municipal housing
- System coordinator for KOBO (the Norwegian State Housing Bank’s digital tool for housing management) and point of contact with the Norwegian State Housing Bank
Required qualifications:
- Relevant college-level education or vocational certification in administration or a related field.
- Experience in case management in the public sector may compensate for a lack of formal education.
- Good written and spoken Norwegian
- Digital proficiency and the ability to learn new systems

- Experience in the public sector
