Description of workplace.

Bjørkelunden is a specialized department with 23 places for people with dementia and older people with disabilities. We are located in a new and modern building with its own sensory garden and actively use welfare technology in our services. We work closely with SAM-AKS and have a strong focus on professional development, quality and patient safety.

We have vacant permanent positions:

  • 100% position with work every 3rd weekend
  • 70% position day/evening with work every 3rd weekend
  • . weekend
  • Multiple weekend positions from 10% to 16%, with the possibility of increased weekend frequency
  • Possibly other health worker positions that may become available
  • Salary as Health Worker with position code 7076

Requirements:

  • Authorization/certificate as a health worker, possibly students in health subjects or other relevant experience of working in health.
  • Mastery of written and spoken Norwegian

  • Valid police certificate pursuant to the Health and Care Services Act § 5-4 first paragraph.
  • A self-declaration for tuberculosis, MRSA and measles must be submitted in accordance with applicable regulations prior to starting work.
  • Applicants with education from abroad must have approval from the Directorate for Higher Education and Competence (HK-dir) in order to be employed in a permanent position.
  • The position has a 6-month probationary period, in accordance with the Working Environment Act
  • Certified copies of diplomas and certificates must be presented at interview and upon request.
