Bjørkelunden is a specialized department with 23 places for people with dementia and older people with disabilities. We are located in a new and modern building with its own sensory garden and actively use welfare technology in our services. We work closely with SAM-AKS and have a strong focus on professional development, quality and patient safety.

We have vacant permanent positions:
- 100% position with work every 3rd weekend
- 70% position day/evening with work every 3rd weekend
- . weekend
- Multiple weekend positions from 10% to 16%, with the possibility of increased weekend frequency

Duties:
- Perform health professional tasks in line with current routines and procedures
- Contribute to person-centered care and environmental work for people with dementia
- Observe, document and report changes in the patient's state of health
- Handle medical-technical equipment and participate in daily assessment work
- Collaborate with relatives and interdisciplinary teams
- Active participation in professional development and quality work
- Use welfare technology as an integral part of the service
- Contribute to a safe and good working environment with a focus on well-being and humor
- Guide and support colleagues and students when needed
Requirements:
- Authorization/professional certificate as a health care worker, possibly students in health care or other relevant experience of working in health care.
- Mastery of written and spoken Norwegian

- Valid police certificate pursuant to the Health and Care Services Act § 5-4 first paragraph.
- A self-declaration for tuberculosis, MRSA and measles must be submitted in accordance with applicable regulations prior to starting work.
- Applicants with education from abroad must have approval from the Directorate for Higher Education and Competence (HK-dir) in order to be employed in a permanent position.
- The position has a 6-month probationary period, in accordance with the Working Environment Act
