Hov medical center is looking for a health secretary for a maternity substitution, with the possibility of permanent employment. We offer an exciting and varied working day in a positive and professionally strong working environment. The medical center is located in bright and modern premises in Hov, and consists of GPs, LIS 1 doctors, bioengineers and health secretaries. We collaborate closely and work actively with experience sharing and professional development.

The medical service in Søndre Land municipality is led by a department manager with an office at the medical center. This ensures close follow-up and good support in everyday work.

Facts about the position:

• Vikariat in 100% position as health secretary as soon as possible and until 31.08.2026
• Daytime
• Paid as a health secretary with position code 7199

Work tasks

• Reception and handling of patient inquiries via telephone, electronically and at reception
• Contact with out-of-hours services, ambulance, AMK and other partners
• Laboratory work, including blood sampling and analysis of patient samples
• Performance of ECG, spirometry, 24-hour BT
• Injections and wound care
• Shift room work and assistance with minor surgical procedures
• Assistance with acute medical conditions
• Occasional tasks such as mail handling and ordering goods

Requirements:

• Education as a health secretary or other relevant health professional background
• Good Norwegian skills, both oral and written
• Good digital skills

Must requirements:

• Experience from a doctor's office is an advantage, but not a requirement
