Job Details:

• Community Support Service 2 provides health care and practical assistance to people with disabilities living at home, both within and outside of group homes
• The position involves working shifts during the day, evenings, and weekends on a rotating annual schedule. The frequency of weekend shifts will depend on the current rotation. Long weekend shifts may be considered if desired
• The position is classified as a healthcare worker with job code 7076
• We encourage college students and students in healthcare programs to apply

Job Responsibilities

• Provide practical assistance and health care in accordance with decisions
• Provide nursing and personal care to our residents
• Perform primary contact duties
• Environmental therapy work and facilitating activities
• Documentation, medication management, and adherence to the department’s procedures

Requirements:

• Certificate as a healthcare assistant.
• Other applicants with relevant experience from similar work may be considered
• Experience in milieu-based work with individuals with intellectual disabilities or other relevant experience
• Proficiency in written and spoken Norwegian with strong communication skills
• Class B driver’s license (automatic and manual)
• Valid police clearance certificate in accordance with the Health and Care Services Act

Preferred qualifications:

• Strong computer skills
