Job Details:
- Community Support Service 2 provides health care and practical assistance to people with disabilities living at home, both within and outside of group homes
- The position involves working shifts during the day, evenings, and weekends on a rotating annual schedule. The frequency of weekend shifts will depend on the current rotation. Long weekend shifts may be considered if desired
- The position is classified as a healthcare worker with job code 7076
- We encourage college students and students in healthcare programs to apply
Job Responsibilities
- Provide practical assistance and health care in accordance with decisions
- Provide nursing and personal care to our residents
- Perform primary contact duties
- Environmental therapy work and facilitating activities
- Documentation, medication management, and adherence to the department’s procedures
Requirements:
- Certificate as a healthcare assistant.
- Other applicants with relevant experience from similar work may be considered
- Experience in milieu-based work with individuals with intellectual disabilities or other relevant experience
- Proficiency in written and spoken Norwegian with strong communication skills
- Class B driver’s license (automatic and manual)
- Valid police clearance certificate in accordance with the Health and Care Services Act
